How to connect Axia LWCP to Fantago
- Open the Fantago Dashboard and click Add Device.
- Pick the Axia LWCP handler from the device type list (internal id
axia_lwcp). - Enter the IP address of your Axia LWCP, then set protocol TCP and port
4010. - Save and connect. Fantago starts polling the device and publishes its feedback variables, ready to use in panels, sequences and logic flows.
- Drag the actions below onto a panel button, a Stream Deck key, a schedule or a logic flow node.

This guide explains how to control and monitor Axia Mixer consoles via LWCP.
Real-time Variables:

Faders, rotaries and Stream Deck + dials:
Fader: Gain Position (fader, rotary), Fader: Gain Adjust (dial, steps in dB or %) and Fader: Set Gain (dB) drive the gain of a console fader on a mixer travel: 0 dB at 75 %, -20 dB at half way, +10 dB at the top, off at the bottom. The console's faders are not motorised: after a change from Fantago the physical fader stays where it is, and the level jumps to it when it is moved by hand. The console sends no event when a fader moves, so the gain of the faders in use (driven by a gain action, or whose gain variable is shown or watched) is read every half second (Fader Gain Read Interval) over the persistent connection. VMix: Input Gain Position / Adjust do the same for a VMix input on consoles with VMix sub-mixers over LWCP (Element, Fusion); a QOR / iQ ignores the VMix commands (its V-Mixer is driven by GPIO) and the handler logs a warning.

Does Fantago support Axia LWCP?
Yes. Fantago includes a ready-made Axia LWCP handler (version 1.6.2) that talks to the device over TCP, default port 4010. It is bundled with every licence and with the 60-day free trial — there is no per-device fee.
What protocol does the Axia LWCP handler use?
TCP, default port 4010. Fantago connects straight to the device over your production network, so no gateway, middleware or vendor software is needed in between.
Can I control Axia LWCP from a Stream Deck?
Yes. Every Axia LWCP action can be mapped to an Elgato Stream Deck key, to a button on a custom Fantago touch panel, to a timed schedule, or to a logic flow triggered by another device — including devices from a different manufacturer.
Can I modify the Axia LWCP handler?
Yes. The handler is a plain JavaScript file (axia_lwcp.js) that you can download from this page, edit and drop back into Fantago. You can also write your own handler from scratch — see the Developer Guide.
